On Sunday, November 15th, I experienced my first kiss with my husband! It was worth the wait! When I committed to God at Country Camp in Columbus, TX, that I would remain sexually pure until marriage, I had no idea he meant to be and waiting until I was 36! And, I certainly didn't know I’d get married during a pandemic. Lol! But, God knew, and he’s been faithful to strengthen me and teach me through it all. There is nothing I would change about my journey. Everything is working together for the good because I love God, and I'm called according to His purpose. (Romans 8:28)

Encouragement for the Singles

My single season certainly had its ups and downs. Attending weddings alone was tough at times. But, I knew God had a plan for me, so I made up in my mind that I would serve Him wholeheartedly even if that meant a lifetime of singleness. I didn't give up hope, but I had to commit in my heart that God was more important than anything. About 3 weeks later, I met Tristan. God sometimes is just waiting on our yes and preparing us for what is to come. He doesn't want us to get the blessing and forget the one who made it possible (HIM).

My Husband!

Wow, I love this man so much! We truly are made for one another. We challenge each other to do better and always encourage one another in the word. He's so attentive and caring towards me. If I get a paper cut, he is concerned about it and wants to take care of me. He treats me like his queen, and I'm so thankful. I'm excited about a lot in our marriage, but I most look forward to us teaming up and tearing the devil's kingdom down bit by bit. We are ready to do all God has called us to do!

The Journey Continues

Sexual purity is a lifelong journey, so I'm excited to continue learning in this area and honoring God in my marriage. I married as a 36-year-old virgin. Again, Jesus, we made it! I owe Him everything.
